Ida Bungay

It is with great sadness that the family of Ida Bungay announces her passing at the Health Sciences Center, St. John's on Tuesday, July 9, 2019, age 64 ,of Harbour Breton. Ida leaves to mourn her loving family: husband, Manuel; daughters, Mrs. Cheryl (Alfred) Winters at Labrador City and Mrs. Cindy (Chris) Skinner at Mount Pearl; special grandson, Braden; brothers, Edward (Marie) Hunt at Lunenburg, NS, John (Frances) Hunt and Jim (Trudy) Hunt all at Harbour Breton; sisters, Linda (Wilson) Price at Paradise, Vivian (Reg) Day and Ruth (Bill) Hickey all at Bishop’s Falls and Gladys (Gilbert) Hunt at Port au Port, NL; as well as a circle of other family and friends. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Addie Hunt; father in law, Lawrence Bungay. Funeral service was held on Saturday, July 13, 2019 at 11:00 am from St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church at Harbour Breton with Father David Joy officiating. Cremation has taken place. Inurnment will take place at a later date. “Love is the only word to describe what we’ve been through together."
