It is with great sadness that the family of Meta Frances Skinner announces her passing at the Connaigre Peninsula Health Care Centre in Harbour Breton on Thursday, August 1, 2019, age 72 years, of Gaultois. Meta leaves to mourn her loving family: husband, Doug; sons, Nelson (Fiona) at Milltown, Doug, Jr. (Darlene) at Grand Falls-Windsor and Tony at Glenwood; grandchildren, Jeanine, Danielle (husband, Jeremy), Julia, Cody, Deidre and Carrie-Ann; sisters, Marion (Winston Roberts) at Botwood and Marie at St. Anthony; brother, Eric at Foxtrap; plus a number of other relatives and friends. Predeceased by her parents, Edgar and Mary Rose; brother, Alston. Funeral Service was held on Sunday, August 4, 2019 at 2:00 pm from St. Luke’s Anglican Church at Gaultois with Rev. Robynn Toal officiating. Interment followed at the Anglican Cemetery, Gaultois. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to St. Luke’s Anglican Church at Gaultois.
