Passed peacefully away at Fogo Island Health Care Centre,after a century of life and love,Edith Reardon (nee Dwyer) in her 101 year. (November 17,1919-July 4,2020 ).Edith's life was one of joy and sorrow,of up and downs,of challenge and triumphs.Of her many joys were her marriage to Edmund, the birth of her two sons,and her many canine pets.Though small in stature, Edith was a women of unbelievable strength and fortitude, that remained with her to the end.She leaves to mourn her loving sons Gerald ( Rita ), Donald (Glenda ),seven grandchildren (Edmund,Jennifer,Sean,Dana,Danielle,Shane,Erin ), and their spouses and partners, six great grandchildren (Brianna,Tristan,Rachel, Liam, Hannah and Harvey ) and many relatives and friends. She was pre-deceased by her husband (Edmund ),her parents (Joseph and Margaret Dwyer) and her sisters (Emeline and Adelaide A funeral service will be held at St. Patrick's Church in Tilting Fogo Island on Wednesday, July 8, 2020.May God grand her the eternal light of heaven and may she rest in peace.
