Passed Peacefully away at the Carbonear General Hospital on Thursday March 14th, 2019 Mr. George William Strickland "Bill" of Spaniard's Bay age 79 years. Predeceased by his parents Ebenezer an Louise, Brother David and Baby sister. Leaving to mourn are His loving wife Olive of 53 years, Children Elizabeth (Glen Janes), Delores, Geoffrey (Sherry lynn). 7 Grand children, Matthew, Tiffany (Maxwell Belbin), Jordan, April, Jessica, Brady and Nicholas. As well as a large circle of other relatives and friends. Resting at Lynch's Funeral Home Spaniard's Bay, Funeral service Monday March 18th, at 2 pm. from Holy Redeemer Anglican Church Spaniard's Bay, Interment to follow at Maul Tree Hill Anglican Cemetery. Visitation Saturday March 16th, 3 - 5 pm Family only. 7 - 9 pm. Sunday March 17th, 10 - 12, 2 - 5, 7 - 9 pm.
