JULIA LUCY UPWARDS 1922 -2019 It is with great sadness that the family of Mrs. Julia Upwards announce her passing on July 25, 2019. Julia was born in Harry's Harbour, Green Bay, NL. on August 18, 1922. She leaves to mourn her two sisters - Mrs. Marion Strong of Whitby, Ontario and Mrs Pearl Knight of Corner Brook; her brother Carl Simmons (Madonna) of Corner Brook, NL.; her sisters-in-law - Mrs. Pearl Upwards of Harry's Harbour, Mrs. Eva Simmons of Hampden, Mrs. Jean Simmons of Deer Lake; her brother-in-law Jim Saunders of Nova Scotia and many nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place. Funeral arrangements made by Central Funeral Homes in Springdale. Burial to take place in Harry's Harbour on Sunday, August 18, 2019 at 2:00 PM in the United Church Cemetery.
