St-Pierre, Armand Laurent “Pete”- age 79, of Yarmouth N.S. passed away on March 13th, 2017 at Yarmouth Regional Hospital. Born in Lambton, Quebec on July 6th, 1937 he was the son of the late Napoleon and Eva (Bouffard) St-Pierre. Armand was a member of the RCAF/Canadian Forces for 29 years before retiring and working with the Corps of Commissionaires at both the Yarmouth Hospital and Airport. In his spare time he enjoyed cutting the grass and walking his dog. He is survived by his wife Ann (Leblanc), son; Dave (Christine) St- Pierre (Ottawa, Ont.), daughter; Lisa St-Pierre (Oshawa, Ont.), sisters; Therese Fillion – St- Pierre, Lucille (Raymond) Lapointe - St-Pierre; Francoise (Richard) Guevremont– St- Pierre all of Quebec; and grandson, Michael St- Pierre (Ottawa). Besides his parents he was predeceased by his brothers; Paul Emile, Jean Louis and Gerard. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Sweeny’s Funeral Home and Crematorium, Yarmouth. A memorial service will be held Friday March 17th at 2 P.M. from Sweenys Funeral Home Chapel with Msgr Gerald LeBlanc officiating. Visitation will be held 1 hour prior to the service. Interment will take place at a later date. Donations in memory may be made to Charity of Choice.
