Patricia Burbidge
Patricia Lynn Burbidge b. September 24, 1946 d. July 7, 2017 Patricia Lynn Burbidge, age 70, of South Ohio, Yarmouth County, NS, was peacefully taken by her Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, to be ever with Him not long after sun rise, July 7th, 2017, with her husband and other family around her . Patricia was a servant of Christ and her desire for all she met was that they would come into a saving relationship with the only Redeemer of men’s souls, Jesus Christ. She was born in Fredericton, NB on September 24th, 1946 to Burton Cecil and Bernice Marie (Smith) Malott now both deceased. Her early employment as a secretary took her to Wabush Mines, PQ, a legal office in Windsor, NS, and a publishing company in Digby, NS. Patricia’s true passion came with marriage and family, in which she loved and cared for all that came under her roof. She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Nelson Graham Burbidge; son, Paul (Sandra) Halifax; daughter, Lori (Matthew) Thompson Quispamsis NB; grandchildren, Brittany, Adam, Natalie, and Grace; her brother Robert (Norma) Malott Kentville and sister Shirley (Lester) Palmer Berwick. She was predeceased by her infant sister Glenda Marie. The funeral will take place 10:00am, Tuesday, July 11th, at Chegoggin Baptist Church with Pastor Paul Parks officiating. Interment will be in Chegoggin Cemetery. Family flowers only. The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to Dr. Tyler Green, MD., Dr. Mark Riley, MD., the Palliative Care nurses, VON, Home Care, Amy Fevens, RN, and Janet Barry, LPN who where all such excellent support through Patricia’s illness.
