FRANKLIN, Donald Brian 1945 - 2017 Passed away peacefully with his family by his side, on Sunday, August 13, 2017, at the Oakville Trafalgar Hospital at the age of 71. Loving husband for almost 50 years to Georgina. Dear father of Anne-Marie Hutchinson, Christine (Duane) Andrewes. Proud “Poppa” of Evann, Hayes, Jenna and Cohen. Don is survived by his sisters Linda (Jim) Gatehouse and Sandra (Barry) Mohr. Don will be fondly remember by his extended family and friends. We’ll always remember that smile, the caring heart, that warm embrace, you always gave us. You being there for Mom and us, through good and bad no matter what. We’ll always remember you Dad, because there will never be another like you and the love you always carried for us. A Celebration of Life will be held at the Roxy (6 Mill Street East, Acton) on Saturday August 26, 2017 from 3-5 p.m. Friends are also invited to join the family at the Royal Canadian Legion, Acton Branch (15 Wright Avenue) at 5:30 p.m. to continue the celebration.
