CHOROLSKI, Irene (nee Polianska) April 28, 1918 – September 3, 2017 Peacefully, on Sunday September 3, 2017 at Extendicare Halton Hills, in her 100th year. Predeceased by her husband Nick (1984). Irene and Nick had no children of their own, but shared a special relationship with their Godson George Bolotenko and neighbor and friend Linda Inglis. Irene was born in Gorohovkha, (near Nikolaev), Ukraine on April 28, 1918. She immigrated to Canada from Austria in 1949 to join her husband Nick. She was a longtime Acton resident, until she moved to Extendicare Halton Hills in 2008. She was a kind and generous women who loved gardening and spending time with her cats. She will be missed by those who knew her. A Funeral Mass will take place at St. Joseph Patron of Canada Parish, 64 Church Street East, Acton on Thursday, September 7, 2017 at 11 am.
