SPIELVOGEL, William Ronald “Bill” August 20, 1935 – May 24, 2017 It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Bill, on Wednesday, May 24, 2017 in his 82nd year. Loving husband for 60 years to Diane (nee Dawkins). Dear father to Colleen Marchment, Deb (Keith) Fendley and Kris Spielvogel. Proud “Papa” to 6 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren. Bill is survived by his sister Ruth (Elwood) Jackson and predeceased by his brothers Jim and Frank and brother-in-law Jack Pink. Bill will be fondly remembered by his brother-in-law Bill (Pat) Dawkins and sisters-in-law Audrey Spielvogel, Adeline Spielvogel and Faye Pink. Also remembered by his godson Michael Shannon. Bill was a volunteer firefighter for 32 years and chairman of the Acton Santa Claus Parade for 30 years. Family will receive friends at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home, 55 Mill Street East, Acton, Ontario on Sunday, May 28, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m. A Funeral Service will be held on Monday, May 29, 2017 at 11 a.m. at the Knox Presbyterian Church, 44 Main Street North, Acton. Interment at Fairview Cemetery.
