Surrounded by family at the Glengarry Memorial Hospital on Saturday, July 21, 2018. Lawrence Phillips of Greenfield; age 91 years. Beloved husband of Yollande Phillips (nee Cyr). Loving father of Lawrence Phillips (Natalie Martin) and Diane Phillips. Dear brother of Annette D'Amour (Gaetan). Predeceased by his parents John Phillips and Aurore Paquette; by two brothers Lionel and Leonard; and by three sisters Lauretta Seguin, Irene Seguin and Laura Phillips. Lawrence will be missed by many nieces and nephews. Following his wishes there will be no Visitation. A private Memorial Service will take place at a later date. The family asks everyone to plant flowers in memory of Lawrence, to support his love of honey bees. Arrangements are under the care and direction of the Munro & Morris Funeral Homes Ltd., 114 Main St. South, Alexandria (613-525-2772). As expressions of sympathy Memorial Donations to the Alzheimer Society would be appreciated by the family. As a Memorial to Lawrence a tree will be planted in a memory woods. A tree grows - memories live.
