Dear father of Elisabeth and Jacob Wall of Aylmer, Tina and Peter Thiessen of Aylmer, Mary and Jake Krahn of Aylmer, Nettie and George Wiebe of Aylmer, Helena and Rudy Klassen of Neustadt Mexico, Trudy and Andrew Wiebe of Aylmer, Jacob and Armida Redekop of El Paso Texas, David and Annie Redekop of Tilbury, Abe and Lisa Redekop of Aylmer, Johnny and Christina Redekop of Neustadt Mexico, Peter and Eve Redekop of Neustadt Mexico and Anita and Jacob Banman of Mexico. Loved by 28 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren. Brother of David Redekop of Mexico, Johan and Maria Redekop of Manitoba, Peter and Anna Redekop of Mexico and Helena and Ehrnfried Werner of Kitchener. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Predeceased by three infant children and two brothers Abe and Willi Redekop. Born in Chihuahua Mexico on October 10, 1928 son of the late David and Katherina Redekop. Jacob was a faithful member of the Bradley Street Church of God and an avid gardener. Friends may call at the H. A. Kebbel Funeral Home, Aylmer on Friday 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at the Bradley Street Church of God, Aylmer on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 2:00 pm. Interment, Aylmer Cemetery.
