SPICE, Alfred Walter (Fred)- Passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family at the Hastings Manor Nursing Home on Tuesday, September 16th, 2014. Alfred Spice, of Belleville in his 74th year. Loving son of the late Walter & Marion Spice. Beloved husband of 31 years to Freda Spice (nee Brown). Cherished father to Bruce Pearsall of Belleville, Patti Spice (Paul Leclair) of Quinte West, Michelle Briggs (Bill) of Belleville, Eva Hirshpold (Leon Bennett) of Edmonton, Lisa Lasher, Sue Ann Spice and Debbie Hedges (Brad) all of Belleville. Predeceased by his brothers Harry Spice (wife Marilyn) of Woodstock and Roger Spice (late Brenda) of Belleville. Survived by his siblings Sharon Beer (Dale) of Belleville, Timothy (Deanna) of Belleville and Patti Spice (Jim Montgomery) of Brampton. Sadly missed by his 12 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. Alfred was an avid supporter of sports, he loved his Belleville Bulls, Blue Jays and Toronto Maple Leafs. In keeping with Alfred’s wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangements entrusted to JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588). A Celebration of Alfred’s Life will be held at the Christ Church Belleville on Saturday September 20th, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. (with visitation one hour prior from 1-2p.m).
