CAMELFORD, Alistair Fulton (Retired Principal, Hastings and Prince Edward District School Board) – Passed away peacefully at his residence, surrounded by the love of his family, on the early morning of Thursday, April 9, 2015. Alistair Camelford, of Belleville was in his 73rd year. Son of the late Archibald and Sylvia Camelford (nee Briggs). Beloved husband of 51 years to Inge Camelford (nee Suykens). Loving father to Julianne Camirand (Christopher) of Windsor, and Ingrid Moore-Garrard (Brian) of Belleville. Survived by his brothers Glen Camelford (Mari Lou) of Whitby, John Camelford (Lesley) of Guelph, and brother-in-law Bob (Janet) Suykens. Pre-deceased by brother-in-law Keith Suykens (Deanna). Dear poppa to Lindsay Moore, Nicholas Garrard, and Alexa and Jordan Camirand. Alistair was an avid member of the Belleville Dragon Boat Club, YMCA, and Cyclopaths Cycling Group. In keeping with his wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to call at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) for visitation on Friday, May 1st, from 2-4 & 6-8p.m. Memorial service will take place in the chapel on Saturday, May 2nd, 2015 at 11:00a.m. Inurnment in the niche wall at the Belleville Cemetery will take place.
