Haig, Anne Philomena – Peacefully, made her way into the arms of the Lord at the Belmont Long Term Care in Belleville on Tuesday December 2nd, 2014. Anne Haig, formerly of the Maple Manor, in her 82nd year. Dear mother of Yana Carey of Belleville, Heather Haig (George) of Thunder Bay, Kathleen Haig (Adrian) of Marmora, and Gary Haig of Consecon. Loved by her grandchildren Amber, Whitney, Misty, Ryan, Freedom, Ricky, Shaula, Kainah, and by her great grandchildren Issac, Lyndsey, Ryker and Lily. Will be dearly missed by her special friend Steven Bates of Belleville. Dear sister of Charlotte Waters, Bernadette Cunningham, Marie McGowan, George Cunningham , all of Ireland, and Freddy Cunningham of England. Predeceased by her husband Gary James Haig , sister Mora, brother Adis, and by her parents Albert and Hannah Cunningham. Friends may call at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588) on Sunday from 2:00 to 4:00p.m. A Funeral Mass will be Celebrated at St Michael The Archangel Roman Catholic Church in Belleville on Monday December 8th, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. Anne was born in Dublin Ireland (Her heart never left Ireland), and immigrated to Canada in 1961 with her husband and children. Anne was a devoted wife and mother, who loved crafts (her specialty was floral arranging). She was a former member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 99 in Belleville for many years.
