Heard, Arthur (Retired Nortel) passed away at Hasting Manor in Belleville on Thursday August 28th, 2014, in his 85th year. Son of the late William and Nellie Heard. Beloved husband of the late Greta Mae (Benway). Dear father of Stephen Heard (Sylvia) of Belleville. Loved by his grandchildren Patricia Heard (Kent St. John) of Kingston and Andrew Heard of Belleville. Dear brother of Derek Heard (late Jennie) and family of Belleville. Survived by his brother in law Donald Cowan (June) of Kanata and by his sister in laws Judy Benway (late Gordon) of Hillier, Ruth Beer (late Joe) of Kitchener. Arrangements in the care of John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588). Family and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service in the Chapel on Wednesday September 3rd, 2014 at 2 p.m. with visitation one hour prior to the service. Interment to follow at the Belleville Cemetery. Donations to the Canadian Diabetes Association, the Canadian Cancer Society or the charity of choice would be appreciated by the family.
