LONG, Arthur “Art” passed away peacefully at home while surrounded by his family on Friday September 7th, 2012 in his 89th year. Beloved husband and lifelong companion of Ruth Long for 58 years. Dear father of Norman (Jane), Clayton (Debbie), and Audrey Bradshaw (Mark). Proud grandpa of Nicole, Jeremy, Justin (Nicole), Curtis (Danielle), Melissa Lee (Terry), Melissa Anne, Adam, Emma, Lindsay (Jake), Logan, and Garrett, and great-grandpa of 7 great-grandchildren. Predeceased by his brother Charles (Late Leola), and sister Hilda (Late Jack). The family will receive friends at MELROSE UNITED CHURCH (613 Melrose Road, Melrose) on Wednesday September 12th, 2012 from 1:00 – 2:00p.m. with a Celebration of Life Service to follow at 2:00p.m. Private family inurnment at Belleville Cemetery “Niche Wall”.
