DRENNAN, Barbara “Babs” (nee Fraser) (Served during WW11 as Petty officer in WRENS, Royal Navy, Stationed in India) – Passed away peacefully at the Westgate Lodge Nursing Home on Monday, September 22nd, 2014 in her 92nd year. Born in Edinburgh, Scotland, daughter of the late Alexander and Margaret Fraser (nee Graham). Beloved wife of the late Charles Drennan. Babs leaves to mourn her daughter Diane St. John (Michael) of N.W.T. and son Brian Drennan of Belleville. Pre-deceased by her son Ronald Drennan, and siblings: June, Grace, Marjorie, Mollie, Joyce, Alexander and Donald. Survived by brother Tom Fraser. Loving grandmother to Malcolm, Jasmine, Graham, Quinn and Nadia. Babs is much loved and sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews in Scotland, England and U.S.A. She was a supporter of many organizations including the Burma Star Association, and volunteered at Telecare, The Lung Association, Humane Society and Literacy Society.
