GORDON, Barry Arthur – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of my “Gentle Giant” and the love of my life at his residence on Friday, June 12, 2015 at the age of 69. Son of the late Lloyd and Stella Gordon. Loving partner to Janet Craig of Belleville. He is survived by his sister Jane Whitney (Isaac) and brother Murray Gordon (late Paulette). Barry is loved and will be sadly missed by his many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Barry was an avid golfer at the Bay of Quinte Golf Club, loved sailing and was a retired truck driver for Kriska Holdings Ltd. In keeping with Barry’s wishes, cremation has taken place. Friends are invited to call at the Belleville Funeral Home and Chapel Ltd., 68 N. Front St., (613-968-5080) on Friday, June 19th, from 7-9p.m. A celebration of life will be held in the chapel on Saturday, June 20th, 2015 at 2:00p.m. Another celebration of life service will be held at a later date in Barry’s hometown of Nipigon, ON. In lieu of flowers, donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, Quinte Humane Society or the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.
