BAKER, BEVERLY WALTER- at the Trenton Memorial Hospital on Tuesday November 9th, 2010, in his 72nd year. Son of the late Walter and Mary Baker. Beloved husband of Irene for 48 years. Father of Lorrie Shaw (Rick), Ken Baker (Valerie), and Don Baker (Melissa). He will be missed by four grandchildren; Tyler, Tori, Brianna Baker, and Robby Shaw, all of Brighton. Brother of Barb Whiteman, Gail Robinson (Milton), Bill Baker (Marilyn), and Winston Baker, all of Madoc, and the late Glen Baker, Cora Gordon, and Bonnie Baker. Brother in law of the late Ken Gordon, Milton Whiteman, Iva Baker, and Margaret Baker, Frank and Jean Reid of Marmora, Earla and the late Ken Johnson of Peterborough, Cliff and Mildred Little of Millbrook, and Grant and Lois Moffatt of Hastings. Friends are invited to call at the WALAS FUNERAL HOME 130 Main Street West, Brighton (613-475-2121) on Thursday November 11th, from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and 7:00-9:00 p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Friday November 12th, 2010 at 1:30p.m. Interment at the Greenwood Cemetery in Smithfield. Donations to the Smithfield Christian Congregational Church, or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family. A service was held on Friday November 12th, 2010 at the WALAS FUNERAL HOME 130 Main Street West, Brighton (613-475-2121), Pallbearers included; best friends, George, Bill and Tom Grant, nephew Rick Little, and Grandsons Tyler Bake, and Robby Shaw. Granddaughters Tori, and Brianna Baker acted as Honorary Bearers. Donations to the Smithfield Christian Congregational Church, or Canadian Cancer Society would be greatly appreciated by the family.
