Deputy Fire Chief Stirling - Rawdon Fire Dept., President of Stirling Lions Club, 30 yrs Service to Scouts Canada) entered into rest surrounded by his loving family at the Kingston General Hospital on Monday May 23 2011. Carl Pitman of Stirling in his 73rd year. Son of the Late Alberta Louise and Russell Pitman. Beloved husband of Barbara Aileen Pitman (Nee: Woodbeck) Loving father of Christina and Don Goulet of Frankford and Ron Pitman of Toronto. Lovingly remembered by his grandchildren Noah and Misty Goulet. Dear brother of Donald Pitman of Orleans and predeceased by infant sister Grace Pitman. Dear brother in law of Gail and Bruce Woodbeck of Belleville. Also survived by several nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the Stirling Funeral Chapel, 87 James St, Stirling on Wednesday from 7:00 till 9:00 and Thursday from 2:00 till 4:00 and 7:00 till 9:00 pm Funeral service will be held at St. Marks Anglican Church, Bonarlaw on Friday May 27 2011 at 2:00 pm. Visitation from 1:00 till 2:00 pm. Rev Janet Weller officiating. Cremation followed by Interment at Stirling Cemetery.
