Cecil Reid

Reid, Cecil passed away peacefully at the Campbellford Memorial Hospital on Tuesday December 7th, 2010, at the age of 87. Loving son of the late Thomas and Ethel Reid. Beloved husband of Mary (nee Tinney) for 61 wonderful years. Dear father of Joan Reid (deceased), Phillip Reid, Rodger Reid Sr. (Beatrice deceased), Dawson Reid, Edna Tinney (Ross), Margaret Tinney, Rose-Mary Rielly (Ron-deceased), Marlene Allen (Bob), Bonnie Reid, Carol Dingman (Scott), Sharon Casselman (Richard) and Karen Herrington (Bob). Survived by his siblings Thelma Mindell, Vivian Vance and Harold Reid. Ever remembered by his 28 grandchildren and 28 greatgrandchildren. Predeceased by his siblings Leona Harris, Lizzie Chatterton and Evelyn Johnson. The family will receive friends at the Stirling Funeral Chapel, 87 James St. Stirling (613-395-2424) on Thursday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel on Friday December 10th, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. Interment to take place at Lukes Cemetery in the spring.
