Russell, David Ronald- It is with great sorrow that the family of Dave Russell announces his passing after a long but upbeat struggle with pulmonary fibrosis on Monday, Aug 01 at the age of 78. A long time employee of ‘Ma Bell’ Dave will be remembered as a loving husband of 49 years to Beverley, a tolerant father to David (Wendy) and Bruce, and a devoted grandfather to Cameron, Mackenzie, Lyndsay, Katie-Jo and Gordon. David was pre-deceased by his sister Sylvia and leaves behind older brother John and wife Susan. Dave will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces, nephews and family friends to whom he was ‘Uncle Dave’. Dave spent his retirement years enjoying either travelling or being surrounded by family and friends at his farm property in Springbrook. Family and friends are invited to a visitation on Thursday evening and a Memorial Service on Friday Aug 5th, 2pm at The Stirling Funeral Chapel, Stirling Ontario. Beverley and the family would like to express their gratitude to the doctors and staff of the Campbellford Memorial Hospital for their compassion and care during his short stay there.
