DIANE MCLEOD (nee EINARSON) It is with deep sadness we announce that our Mom, Amma and Big Amma left us peacefully on September 15, 2017, at the age of 72. Diane leaves her loving children Sandy (Patty) and Debi (Doug), her grandchildren Sarah (Chris), Kaitlyn (Joel), Nicholas and Noah, and her great-grandson Vaughn. Diane was predeceased by her husband Stanley, her parents Kalli and Edda, and sister Christine. She will be sadly missed by her siblings Walter (Francis), Leslie (Elaine), Donny (Lillian), Cathy (Luc), Bobby (Pam), Barry (Michelle) and Wanda. Gimli, MB is hometown for Diane and the place she fell in love with an Air Force man and travelled the world for 48 years with, as well as the place she often vacationed with her children and grandchildren. Diane was proud to be a wife, a mother and mother-in-law of wonderful men who served in the Canadian Military. We will be celebrating Diane's full love for life in Gimli on Saturday, October 7, 2017 at 2:00 p.m. at The Lakeview Resort Hotel in Gimli, MB. In lieu of flowers, the Alzheimer Society of Canada would welcome a donation. Life was taken from this beautiful person far too soon and she will be missed by everyone who knew her.
