HOLMES: Donald William (Air Force Veteran) Of Belleville, entered into rest at the Trenton Memorial Hospital on Thursday February 3rd, 2011 in his 88th year, with his loving family by his side. Dear son of the late Robert (Bob) G. Holmes & the late Clara B. (nee-Duquette). Beloved husband and life long companion to Dorothea Catherine Holmes (nee-Coughlin). Donald & Dorothea celebrated their 67th wedding anniversary this past year on August 23rd, and have been together for over 70 years. Cherished Father of Carol E. Stapley and her husband Daniel of Trenton, Pamela Leeder and her husband Clarke of Belleville and K. Michael Holmes of Japan. Predeceased by daughter D. Wendy Ivory. Also lovingly remembered by his 10 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren and by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by sister Kathleen and by brother George. Friends are invited to call at the Belleville Funeral Home and Chapel, 68 North Front Street, Belleville (613-968-5080) on Sunday February 6th, from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Monday February 7th, 2011 at 2:00p.m. Cremation to follow.
