DEMPSEY, Dorothy Bell Ann- It is with great sadness that the Dempsey family announces the passing of Toots on Thursday April 1st, 2010 at Quinte Healthcare Belleville. Predeceased by her husband Douglas Gordon Dempsey. Loving mother of Vicki Emery (Andre) and Jackie Dempsey, all of Belleville. Twin sister of Boots Terry (Jim). Devoted grandmother to Anthony Dempsey (Julie), Christy Royle (Mike), Kodie Dempsey (Jim) and Kattie Emery (Tyler). Great grandmother of Olivia, Ryker, Blake, Nolan, Charlie, Dakota, Hunter, Landon and Mason. Favorite Aunt to Duffy Blackburn (Linda) and Jill Jackson. Fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. Dorothy was predeceased by her sisters Gladys Keegan, Gertrude Cousins, Mary Ellen Blackburn, Marjorie Forsyth and her brother Jack LaBarge. A heartfelt thank you to the special staff at Quinte Healthcare for their compassionate care, especially to Dr. Jennifer Whelan and Dr. Shipley. Funeral services for Dorothy were held at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave. Belleville (613-968-5588) on Monday April 5th, 2010. As expressions of sympathy donations to the Lung Association would be greatly appreciated.
