Young, Edna Gertrude Mae (nee-Thompson) 1914-2010 Entered into rest at Westgate Lodge, Belleville on Monday April 19th, 2010. Dear daughter of the late Oscar and Ethel Thompson and predeceased by sister Bernice and brothers; Leonard and Freddie. Loving wife of the late Perry A. Young and predeceased by eldest son Karl Young. Cherished Mother of Sally Ann Knight of Belleville and Richard (Catherine) Young (nee-Rorabeck) of Peterborough. Sadly missed by grandchildren; Judy Young of Edmonton, Crystalyn (Mark) Tessier of Brooklin, Sally-Jo Knight of Belleville, Robert (Maureen) Young of Kingston and Joanne (Dave) Haacke of Peterborough. Lovingly remembered by great grandchildren; Evan Tessier, Alyssa and Erin Young and Ryan, Lindsay, Shannon and Holly Haacke. Cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held at Christ Church on Friday April 23rd, 2010 at 12 noon (with visitation one hour prior to service). Canon Michael Oulton officiating.
