Way, Effie Pearl (retired with Corby Distilleries after 39 years) – Passed away at her home on Tuesday February 11th, 2014. Effie Way, of Belleville, in her 88th year. Daughter of the late Walter and Pearl (Stapley) Way. Dear sister of Clara Green (Murney) of Courtice, Betty Morris of Belleville, and Harry Way (Ethel) of Read. Predeceased by her sisters Mary VanDusen, Annie St Denis, Nellie Reddick, and by her brothers Lionel, Walter, William, James and Douglas Way. Effie will be sadly missed by her many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbours. Family and friends are invited to visitation at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Avenue, Belleville (613-968-5588) on Wednesday drom 2-4 and 7-9p.m. A service will be held in the chapel on Thursday February 20th, 2014 at 2:00p.m. Interment to follow at the Belleville Cemetery. Donations to the Alzheimers Society would be appreciated.
