SLEEPER, Evelyn (1915 – 2015) Passed away at the McQuigge Lodge Nursing Home, Cannifton on Friday, June 19th, 2015, in her 100th year. Survived and loved by daughter Carol Goerke and her husband Fred of Belleville, sister Marjorie Armstrong of Bancroft, and son-in-law Dick Knapton of Belleville. Beloved widow of Jack Sleeper and Herbert Pillage. Predeceased by daughters Doreen Weeks, and June Knapton, parents Lawrence and Jean Aide, sister Mary Sprackett, and brothers Milton and Charlie Aide. Loved by six grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. Lovingly remembered by dear friend Kathy Neill of Belleville, many nieces and nephews, but especially nephews Ted Sprackett of Peterborough, and Keith Sprackett of Belleville. The family will receive friends at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) on Wednesday, June 24th, 2015 from 1-2p.m. with a service to follow in the chapel at 2p.m. Interment Stirling Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Heart & Stroke Foundation, or a Charity of Your Choice would be appreciated.
