Everett Reid

Everett Donald Reid January 12, 1934 - April 16, 2018 Passed away peacefully at 84 years of age. Born in Cannifton, Ontario, he leaves his loving family, which includes wife Helen, children Jim (Carrie), Don(Lisa) and Julia (Jeff) and his five beloved grandchildren Sierra, Logan, Ryan, Russell and Lewis Everett. Predeceased by his parents James and Lena and his siblings Helen, Gordon, Marion and Jean. Everett worked as a crane operator on the railroad (CN) and across Ontario and Quebec building infrastructure such as bridges and stadiums and as a heavy machine operator for local construction companies (Rollins, Gunsolus, Fitzgibbons). We remember him as an ambitious, talented and hardworking man with an indomitable will to overcome all challenges he faced. We invite friends and family to visit at the John R Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) on Saturday April 21, 2018 from 12-1 pm. Funeral Service will be in the chapel from 1 pm and reception will follow at John R Bush Funeral Home Reception Centre.
