SCHOLTEN, Evertina Klaasje (nee Oosting)- Peacefully at the Trenton Memorial Hospital on Friday June 7th, 2013 in her 102nd year. Predeceased by her loving husband of 62 years Reinder (October 30, 1994). Beloved mother of Lubertha Shannik of Frankford, Martha Voskamp (Mike) of Trenton, Garry Scholten (Suzanne) of Stirling and William H. Scholten (Jayne) of Trenton. Beloved mother in law of Dorothy Scholten of Stirling and Darlene Scholten of Prince George, B.C. Beloved sister-in-law of Lena Oosting of Stirling. Predeceased by her sons Harmen and Roelof, infant daughter Tinie, sons-in-law Clare Ackers and Harold Shannik, grandchildren Tina Rae and Kelly Scholten and great grandchildren Nicole Ackers and Cailan Scholten. Loved and missed by 20 grandchildren, 43 great grandchildren and 18 great great grandchildren. Also predeceased by her sisters Hielkje, Afke, Berta, Wietske and Roeli, and brothers Eise and Feike. Born in the Netherlands in 1911, she survived both world wars, immigrated to Canada in October 1952 at Pier 21, Halifax and located to Stirling, Ontario until her death. Friends may call at the STIRLING FUNERAL CHAPEL LTD 87 James St. Stirling (613-395-2424) on Wednesday from 7-9 p.m. Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrews Presbyterian Church, Stirling on Thursday June 13th, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. Interment Stirling Cemetery.
