George Calvert of Crown Ridge Place, Trenton and formerly of Brighton, son of the late Harry Calvert and the late Margaret (Clark). Loving father of Rick Calvert and his wife Marilyn of Carrying Place, Randy Calvert and his wife Elisabeth of Bayside, Tammy Steele and John Walgren of Trenton, Paul McConnell, and Bettey Ann Thistle and Farrell Hubley all of Mississauga. Dear brother of Betty and her husband Dave Bradley-Neale, and Margaret Alice Calvert all of Cambridge. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Brandy, Lance, Aaron, Justin, Ashley, Jordon, Jessica, Joshua, Larry, Dean, Shane, and great grandchildren, Devon, Terrick, Lilly, Madeline, Denali, and Aaron. The family will receive friends at the Walas Funeral Home, 130 Main Street, Brighton on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. and Wednesday from 1 o’clock. Service in the funeral home on Wednesday, May 19th, 2010 at 3 o’clock. Interment Mount Hope Cemetery.
