Gerald Hutchinson, son of the late Harry Hutchinson and the late Ethel (Palmateer). Loving husband for 64 years of Marilyn (Taylor). Dear father of Geraldine and her husband John Nicol of Kingston, David and his partner Karen Wood of Ennismore, Sharron Hutchinson, Ivan Hutchinson and his wife Grace, all of Warkworth, Paul Hutchinson and his wife Colleen of Brighton, Garry Hutchinson and his wife Marilyn of Warkworth, Lloyd Hutchinson and his wife Diana Macklin of Brighton, Mark Hutchinson and his wife Kim Rayner of Codrington, Diane and her husband Patrick Lanoue of Campbellford, and Larry Hutchinson of Warkworth. Brother of Irvin Hutchinson, Norma Grills, both of Warkworth, and Elton Hutchinson and his wife Ruth of Campbellford. Predeceased by his brother Gordon Hutchinson, his sister-in-law Marjorie Hutchinson, and his brother-in-law George Grills. Survived by sister-in-law Mary Hutchinson of Warkworth. Son-in-law of Evalin Taylor of Cobourg and the late Lawson Taylor. Sadly missed by his fourteen grandchildren, five great grandchildren, his many nieces and nephews, and his daughter-in-law Linda. The family will receive friends at the Walas Funeral Home, 70 Church Street, Warkworth on Tuesday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Service at St. Paul’s United Church, Warkworth, on Wednesday, May 25th, 2011 at 1:30 p.m. Interment Warkworth Cemetery.
