MIELER, Gloria Jean (Retired Cashier, Metro Belleville) – It is with profound sadness we announce the passing of Gloria after a brief battle with lung cancer at the Belleville General Hospital. Gloria Mieler, of Belleville was 66 years of age. Beloved wife to John “Tiny” Foster. Loving mother to Hope Lawson (Tim) of Michigan, and Robert Copeland. Gloria will be sadly missed by her sister Deborah Davidson of Detroit, and brother Gordon Mulligan of New Orleans. Devoted grandma to John and Steven, great-grandmother to Angelina and Steven Jr. Gloria will always be remembered by her friends and family as someone who loved to travel, especially to Las Vegas, and who always kept a positive outlook on life no matter what she was dealt. In keeping with Gloria’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A Celebration of her life will be held at a later date in the reception centre of the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588). If desired, donations to the Kingston General Hospital Oncology Department would be greatly appreciated by the family.
