KEMP, GORDON FRANCIS passed peacefully at his home in Brighton with his family by his side, on Wednesday, July 4th, 2012, age 91 years. Gord Kemp, son of the late Irvin Kemp and the late Alice (Yarrow). Beloved husband of the late Jean Elizabeth (Perry). Dear friend of Maude Turner. Loving father of Raymond (Cathy), Marie Steacy, Bruce (Pauline), Hilda Seward (Nelson), and Sandra Cooper (Weddle). Predeceased by his sister Dorothy Dunkley and his brother Ernest Kemp. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Danny Kemp, Mike Kemp, Linda Patterson, Lori Steacy, Sherry Foote, Julie Kemp, Shannon Lawrence, Rodney Seward, Chad Seward, Anne Lawson, Tracy Cooper, Chrissy Cooper, Kelly Cooper, his twenty-one great grandchildren, and his four great great grandchildren. The family will receive friends at the Walas Funeral Home, 130 Main Street, Brighton on Sunday from 6 to 8 p.m. Service in the funeral home on Monday, July 9th, 2012 at 11 o’clock. Interment Greenwood Cemetery, Smithfield.
