Hazel Irene Armstrong

ARMSTRONG, HAZEL IRENE, peacefully at the Northumberland Hills Hospital, Cobourg on Thursday, August 23rd, 2012, age 90 years. Hazel Armstrong, daughter of the late Lawrence Denny and the late Edna (Martin). Beloved wife of the late Lyle Ernest “Pal” Armstrong. Loving mother of Shirley and her husband Ron Potter of Brighton, and Brian Armstrong and his wife Cheryl of Oshawa. Predeceased by her sister Elva Wilkins and her brother Gordon Denny. Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Angela Erwin (Allan), Charlene Said (Christian), Ethan Armstrong, Cole Armstrong, and her great grandchildren, Alex, Alyssa, and Ashtyn Erwin. The family will receive friends at the Walas Funeral Home, 130 Main Street, Brighton on Tuesday, August 28th, 2012 from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. Service to follow in the funeral home at 2 o’clock. Interment Salem Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Brighton Fire Department or the Brighton Community Care, would be appreciated by the family.
