Dear father of Brian Gilchrist and his wife Debbie of Caledon, Fiona Gilchrist and her husband Tim MacAvelia of Carrying Place, and step-daughter Laurie Burns of Gabriola Island, British Columbia. Sadly missed by his four grandchildren and his one great grandson. The family will receive friends at the Walas Funeral Home on Tuesday, July 17th, 2012 from 2 to 4 p.m. Cremation to follow.
