BAKER, Ida Jean (Retired R.N.)– It is with great sadness we announce the passing of our beloved mother at the Hastings Manor L.T.C.F. on Sunday, June 21st, 2015 in her 93rd year. Daughter of the late Roy and Nellie Sills (nee Caverley). Pre-deceased by her loving husband John Francis Baker (1997). Dear mother to Mary Packham (Roger) of B.C., John Baker (Glenda) of Oshawa, and Liz Baker (Phil Hoilett) of A.B. Jean is survived by her sisters Lois Ray (Ted), Doris Cross (late Don), Bessie Hubble (late Burton), Dorothy Baker (late Harry), Connie Stettler and brothers Roy Sills (Suzanne), and Bob Sills (Shirley). She is also survived by sister-in-laws Betty Sills (late Doug), Jean Sills (late Don), and half-sister Margaret Sullivan (late Ray). Pre-deceased by sister-in-law Margaret Sills (late Jack). Devoted grandmother to Andrew, Michael and Jillian Packham, Mark, Johnny, and Brian Baker and Claire Hoilett. Funeral service will be held at the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) on Thursday, June 25th, 2015 at 2:00p.m. (with visitation one hour prior to the service from 1-2p.m.). Rev. Kate Ann Follwell officiating. Cremation will take place following the service. Jean’s ashes will be interred at Ahmerst Island Cemetery at a later date.
