JAMES GORDON MOORE March 6, 1922-August 11, 2010 Formerly of Montreal, passed away peacefully at Trent Valley Lodge, Trenton, Ontario after a short illness. Loving husband of 64 years, best friend and constant companion of Bernice (Guay). Devoted father of Gay (Gerald Gray) and Lynn (Martin Wale). Loving grandfather and mentor of Shannon Gray-Henry (Steve), Christopher Gray (Tammie Morgan), Melanie Brisebois (Craig Wilshire) and Cynthia Brisebois (Graham Lonergan). Proud great-grandfather of Shawn Gray, Lily Henry, Isabella Gray, Sofia Lonergan and Andrew Wilshire. Fondly remembered brother-in-law, uncle, friend and cheerful resident of Applefest Lodge. Pre-deceased by his brother and sister-in-law, sisters and brothers-in-law. Gordon was a man characterized by strong principles, a gentle soul and a passionate love of life, especially dancing and ice cream. His life was totally dedicated to loving his wife, family and friends until the day he died. We will miss his laughter, strength and presence forever. In accordance with his wishes, his remains will be laid to rest in the Veterans’ Field of Honor, Pointe Claire, Quebec, in a private ceremony. Family and friends wishing to remember Gordon are invited to send donations to Applefest Lodge, Activities Arrangements entrusted to Walas Funeral Home, Brighton, ON.
