HATCHER, JAMES “JIM” WILLIAM at the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, on Thursday, January 6th, 2011, age 68 years. Jim Hatcher of Warkworth, son of the late William Hatcher and the late Vera (Plant). Loving husband of Joan (Grills). Dear father of Rick Hatcher and his fianceé Amy Kellar-Randall of Stirling, Ron Hatcher of Brighton, and Leanne and her husband Chris Umbel of Warkworth. Brother of Bob Hatcher of Trenton, Mae Kimball and Ron Corley of Peterborough, Pat and her husband Bob Wellar of Port Hope, Glenn Hatcher and his wife Gail of Warkworth, and Ann and her husband Alvin Jones of Castleton. Sadly missed by his grandchildren, Michelle, Felisha, Abby, Autumn, step-grandchildren, Tyler, Ashley, Thomas, and his many nieces and nepehws. Son-in-law of Norma Grills of Warkworth and the late George Grills. Brother-in-law of Cathy and her husband Steve Ambler of Havelock. Jim worked heavy equipment for Northumberland County for 25 years and drove for Peter and Joe Dibbits the past 13 years. The family will receive friends at the Walas Funeral Home, 70 Church Street, Warkworth on Thursday from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 p.m. Service in the funeral home on Friday, January 14th, 2011 at 2 o’clock. Cremation. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Campbellford Memorial Hospital Foundation or the Peterborough Regional Health Centre, would be appreciated by the family.
