Malcolm, James Gerald “Jim” – Passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loving family on Sunday, May 10th, 2020 in his 91st year. Son of the late Samuel and Hazel Malcolm. Beloved husband of Lorna Malcolm (nee Mieske). Dear father to Richard Lambert (Penny), Roger Malcolm (Ingrid) and Lynn Malcolm-Forestell. Jim is survived by his sister Joyce. Pre-deceased by his siblings Eileen, Gladys, Edna, Kay, John, Joe, twin sisters Marlene and Darlene, and brother Ivan. He will be sadly missed by his grandchildren; Abby, Samantha, Jared, Lindsey, Braydan, Ryan and Maya. Jim was known as the Co-Founder of Malcolm Brothers Restoration in 1954 and will be remembered for being a part of various organizations and community events such as Saint Mathews (Holloway Street) United Church, Belleville Shrine Club, Belleville Masonic Lodge, Belleville Sales and Ad., Big Brothers, various outdoorsmen clubs, and he coached various sports teams. Due to the restriction on public gatherings, a celebration of life will take place at a later date. Arrangements in the care of the John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588). If desired, donations in Jim’s memory can be made to Shriners Hospital for Children or the Alzheimer Society of Hastings and Prince Edward.
