HOWELL, Joanne Elaine – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Joanne at her home in Stirling, on Saturday, April 18th, 2015 at the age of 77. Daughter of the late George and Elva Heasman (nee McIntosh). Beloved wife to Chesley Howell. Loving mother to Raymond Howell (Naoko) of Temecula, California, Marion Howell (Dr. Peter Dickens) of Aurora, ON, and David Howell of Richmond Hill, ON. Dear sister to Catherine Little, Peter Heasman (Linda), Grace Lough (Bob), Fred Heasman (Judy), and Charles Heasman (Bonnie). Joanne will be missed by her sister-in-law Gloria Shano (Ken), and brother-in-law David Howell (Patricia). Pre-deceased by her brothers-in-law David Little, Cameron Sine, Ron Grist. Devoted grandmother to Jasmine, Connor, Danielle, Tamara, her step-grandchildren; Lindsey Hocanin (Tolga), Shannon Feltmate (Erik), and her step-great-granddaughter, Emily. Sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews. Friends are invited to call at the Stirling Funeral Chapel, 87 James St., (613-395-2424) on Tuesday, April 21st from 7-9p.m. Funeral service will be held from the St. Pauls United Church, Stirling on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015 at 2:00p.m. Interment will take place at the Stirling Cemetery.
