John Burley

BURLEY: John Alexander (Employee of Deloro Stellite, formerly of Mead Johnson and Twiddy’s Grocery Store) Entered into rest at the Belleville General Hospital on Friday September 16th, 2011 in his 61st year. Dear son of the late Alexander Burley & the late Phyllis Burley (nee-Twiddy). Beloved husband of Diane Catherine Burley (nee-Watson) for 30 years. Loving Father of Lesley Burley (Peter) of Sharbot Lake and Erin Prince (Greg) of Belleville. Dear step-father of Bob Gallinger of Belleville. Predeceased by step-son James Gallinger. Also lovingly remembered by his grandchildren; Ethan & Tyson Prince, Ben & Jessie Dempsey, Mackenzie, Jerrica & Keagan Gallinger. Will be missed by his sister Judy Rowland (Richard) of Belleville, and also by his brother; Lynn Burley of Belleville; Brothers-in-law; Keith Watson (Jennifer) of Belleville, Glenn Watson (Marie) of Picton and also by his many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by his in laws; Walter & Shirley Watson. John loved spending time with his family and loved the Belleville Bulls, he was a 31 year season ticket holder and was also very proud that his grandson was a member of the Jr. Belleville Bulls Minor Hockey Club. Friends are invited to call at John R. Bush Funeral Home, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) on Tuesday from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. Funeral Service will be held in the chapel on Wednesday September 21st, 2011 at 1:00p.m. (with visitation also one hour prior to service). Rev. Anne-Marie Jones officiating. Interment Belleville Cemetery.
