Empson, John Herbert at the Kingston General Hospital on Tuesday June 29 2010 after a couragous battle with cancer and with his wife by his side . John Empson of Oak Lake, Stirling in his 55th year. Son of the Late Dr.Jack and Emma Empson. Beloved husband of Sue Empson (Nee: Williams) and dear step father of Donald Reed (Christine) and sadly missed by granddaughters, Emily, Sara and Abby Reed all of Stirling. Dear brother of Brian Empson (Maggie) and Jasper and Willow Empson all of Belleville. Dear brother in law of Nancy Garrod (Howard) and fondly remembered by Michael Garrod (Sharon) and great nephew Zachary Garrod all of Stirling. Predeceased by sister Heather, brothers Dick and Doug Empson and nephew Adam Garrod. Following cremation a Celebration of John's life will be held at St John's Anglican Church, Stirling on Tuesday July 6, 2010 at 1:30 pm. A private family interment will take place at Victoria Cemetery, Plainfield. In lieu fo flowers donations to the Canadian Cancer Society, Ontario Heart and Stroke Foundation, or the charity of you choice would be appreciated.
