MACDONALD, John Duncan – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of John MacDonald on Monday, October 15th, 2018 in his 89th year at the Quinte Gardens Retirement Residence. Predeceased by parents Duncan and Margaret MacDonald. Brother to Jean Threader (late Jack), Christine MacDonald, Archie MacDonald (Marion), and predeceased by Donald MacDonald. Long-time friend of Brian and Donna Rae McFaul as well as Mary Ellen and Eldon Closson. John had a true passion for farming, he was a Leader of the 4H Club as well as member the Cattleman’s Association. The family would like to thank Quinte Gardens Retirement Residence for their amazing help. Friends may call at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME, 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) on Monday, October 22nd, 2018 from 1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m. with a Memorial Service beginning at 2:00 p.m. Inurnment to take place back home in Maxville at a later date.
