John Millett

MILLETT: JOHN EDWARD After several month of declining health due to cancer John Millett passed away quietly at his home in Belleville Ontario on February 16. He leaves behind his loving wife of fifty-five years Gwen Millett and his daughter and son; Frances Millett (John Eng) and Russell Millett, and his two grandsons Micheal and Alexander Eng. A private service to be held in Belleville with a memorial celebration of his life at a latter date. John was an active member of the Moira Lodge No 11, through which he was the recipient of the William Mercer Medal, the chapter's historian, and helped in organizing the time capsule for the Corner Stone of the new Belleville Public Library. He was also an active member of the Quinte Friendship Chapter Royal Arch Masons No 7. We are extremely grateful for the wonderful care provided for him by his Personal Care Givers Felicita and Sally his nurse Monia, Dr Robert Bates, and his staff Cathy and Bev, all the wonderful in house Personal Care Workers from the Red Cross, Hope, Judy, Linda, Marie, Nadina, Ogo, and Terry, and the support from the staff and volunteers at Hospice Quinte, their compassion was truly extraordinary as they went above and beyond to insure his comfort No flowers by request, if desired donations can be made to Hospice Quinte.
