MILLAR: Laura Alene (nee Sine) It is with great sorrow that we announce the passing of Laura Alene Millar (nee Sine) at Belleville General Hospital on Monday, September 24th, 2012. She was in her 90th year. Dear daughter of the late James Tobias Sine and the late Louise Ann Sine (nee Wright) of Wallbridge. Beloved wife of 72 years of Grant E. Millar. Cherished Mother of Diane Genereaux (Bill), Gail Millar, Bonnie Sharpe (Gary), and Grant Millar Jr. (Mayme). Also lovingly remembered by grandchildren: Laurie (Paul), John (Leigh-Ann), Wesley (Tracie), Mary (Serge), Jamie (Lindsay), Jeffrey (Amie), Peter, Jessica, and her many great-grandchildren. Predeceased by her brother Malcolm and by her sister Olive Woods. In addition to her devotion to her family, Laura was an avid sports fan and an accomplished curler. Having been raised on the family farm at Wallbridge she had a lifelong love for her animal friends. With respect for Mrs. Millar's wishes, cremation has taken place. A private family gathering was held at the Belleville Funeral Home and Chapel where Rev. Barb Willard of Westminster Church provided words of comfort. No flowers please.
