SIMPSON, Lawrence Vernon Aubrey (Blackie) (World War II Veteran, Regimental Sergeant-Major of the Hasty P's and Body Shop Foreman at Weese Motors for 40 years) - peacefully at the Prince Edward County Memorial Hospital, in his 91st year, with his family by his side on Wednesday, December 21st, 2011. Beloved husband of Lois (O'Neill) Simpson and the late Vivian Yerex. Loving father of Skip (Gwen) of Belleville, Debra McCauley (Robert) of Brighton and Bob of Kingston. Ever remembered by eight grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren. Pre-deceased by his parents William 'Henry' Simpson and Naomi (Crosby) Simpson, sisters Etheline and Lois. The family will receive friends at the RUSHNELL FUNERAL CENTRE, 60 Division Street, Trenton on Wednesday, December 28th, 2011 from 11:00 a.m. until time of Service at 2:00 p.m. Padre Sid Horne officiating. Interment St. George's Cemetery. Memorial Donations to charity of your choice or Regimental Trust/Hastings and Prince Edward Regiment would be appreciated.
