MIDDLETON, Lillian “Buddy” May passed away peacefully at the Belleville General Hospital on Friday July 15th, 2011, at the age of 84. Loving daughter of the late Charles and Daisy Jeffs. Beloved wife of the late Louis A. Middleton. Dear mother of Nancy Lou St-Pierre (John) of Queensboro, Marilyn Rose (deceased), Lori Corine (deceased), Don Middleton (Linda) of Harcourt, and Jay Middleton (Kim) of Corbyville. Survived by her sisters Beverly Thompson (Gordon), and Freda Way (Ed), and brothers Charles Jeffs (Marlene), Jim Jeffs (Pat), and Jack Jeffs (Barbara). Ever remembered by her sister-in-law Evelyn Middleton (late George). Fondly remembered by her grandchildren Dan Clarke (Lisa), Jeff Clarke (Josie), Amy Middleton (Andrew), and Michael Middleton, and great-grandchildren Rachel, Deanna, Dylan, and Allison Clarke. Fondly cherished by Cole, and Shawnae and her many nieces and nephews. Predeceased by her sisters Peggy McGuire (late Charles), Marion Childerhose (late Stu), Eileen Martin (late Harold), Betty Long (Bill), and brother Harry Jeffs (Muriel). Lillian was a receptionist with Belleville City Hall for 25+ years. The family will receive friends at the JOHN R. BUSH FUNERAL HOME 80 Highland Ave., Belleville (613-968-5588) on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9p.m. and on Tuesday July 19th, 2011 from 12:30-1:30p.m.. Service will be held in the chapel immediately following the visitation at 1:30p.m. Interment Belleville Cemetery. As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Christ Church Building Fund would be appreciated by the family.
