Shorey, Lynne – It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Lynne Shorey on Saturday, April 28th, 2018, in her 67th year. Faith, family, friends, neighbours, pets and “her kids” sustained her through her courageous battle with cancer. Longlife resident of Cannifton, and passionate teacher for many years. She was our Christmas gift on December 23rd, 1951. Devoted daughter of Elmer and Margaret Shorey. Loving sister to Nancy Shorey and Jack Shorey (Sharon). Lynne will be loved always by her beloved nephews, Edward and Eric Shorey and by her dear “family through friendship”, the Airhart and Allport families. Friends may call at the JOHN R. Funeral services will be held at St. Mark’s United Church, Cannifton, on Saturday, May 12th, 2018 at 11:00 am. Interment at Elmwood Cemetery., Rev. Ryan McNally officiating.
